Modded PXN 0082 Arcade Stick - JoyMOT(Joystick & Mod Throwback)

Ini pertama kali nya kita memodifikasi stick arcade Xbox One. PXN 0082 merupakan stick arcade yang bisa bekerja di PS4 dan Xbox One, karena untuk sambung ke console kita perlu sambungkan controller original seperti Dual Shock ke stick ini, kemudian sambungkan kabel USB dari stick ini ke console kita.
 

This is the first time we mod an Xbox One arcade stick. PXN 0082 is an arcade stick that can work on both PS4 and Xbox One, because in order to work on those consoles we need to hook up an original DualShock 4 or XB1 controller to this stick, then connect the USB cable from this stick to our console.

Konsumen meminta kita merubah controller ini jadi semacam Mixbox; controller yang menggabungkan tombol keyboard dan tombol arcade di satu produk. Kesan pertama kami akan stick PXN ini kami cemas tidak ada ruangan yang cukup untuk memasang tombol keyboard nya.  Namun kemudian konsumen menjelaskan dia ingin agar tombol arah nya dipasang miring. Kami berkonsultasi dengan konsumen untuk menentukan posisi tombol keyboard yang diinginkan. Proses modifikasi berjalan mulus meski awal nya kami khawatirkan beberapa hal seperti plat yang menjadi semacam panggung untuk tombol keyboard akan terlihat terlalu tebal.


This particular consumer wanted to turn his stick into some kind of Mixbox; a controller that combines arcade buttons with PC keyboard buttons in one product. Our initial impression of this PXN stick was we were worried there would not be enough space to install the keyboard buttons. However later on the consumer explained he wanted to install the keyboard buttons at a skewed angle. We consulted with him to determine the exact position he was requesting. The whole process went well although we were worried about several things such the plate that was used as a platform to hold the keyboard buttons would look too thick.

Kami kemudian berkumpul dengan teman-teman kami di rental PS4 sambil mencobai stick PXN yang telah selesai kami modif. Ternyata stick ini bisa dipakai secara bersamaan dengan DualShock 4. Itu memberikan kita ide untuk memakai DS4 untuk masukin input arah, sedangkan untuk input pukulan tembakan dan sejenis nya kita menggunakan tombol arcade.


We then hung out with our friends at a PS4 rental shop, as well as trying the modded PXN stick there. It turns out we can use a DualShock 4 and the stick at the same time. This gave us an idea to use the DS4 to input directions, while we used the arcade buttons to input punches, kicks, etc.
